Jesus shows mercy to those who seek Him in faith, and many Christians find hope, encouragement, and spiritual peace through prayer. Mercy Circle is a simple prayer fellowship in which Christian brothers and sisters pray a few words for God’s mercy and blessing upon believers around the world.
Mercy Circle is a simple spiritual practice that does not require you to travel anywhere. You can take part from the comfort of your own home. Christians from different countries participate by offering prayers for themselves, their families, and others in need.
To join the Mercy Circle, begin by showing an act of kindness according to your ability. You may provide a meal for a hungry person or offer water to someone thirsty. Afterwards, find a quiet and peaceful place, close your eyes, place your hand over your heart, and prayerfully recite the Mercy Circle Prayer once:
“Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on Your servants who feed the hungry and give water to the thirsty. Amen.”
Many people choose to pray this prayer for several days as a way of seeking spiritual encouragement, inner peace, and a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
Most Christian brothers and sisters practise the Mercy Circle Prayer for seven days. During this period, participants are encouraged to feed at least one hungry person or offer water to someone in need. Those who are able may continue this act of kindness throughout the entire seven-day period.
By carrying out this prayer and act of compassion with a sincere heart, many believers feel encouraged by the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. Christians often pray for God’s help in times of difficulty, worry, illness, and personal challenges, trusting in His love and care.
Countless people have shared personal experiences of comfort, hope, and spiritual blessing through prayer. Christians believe that God hears prayers according to His wisdom and timing. While no particular outcome can be guaranteed, prayer remains a meaningful way to seek God’s presence, guidance, mercy, and peace.
Every day, many people participate spiritually in the Mercy Circle. In addition, 40 volunteers within our prayer network offer special prayers for those who submit prayer requests. If you wish, you may send us your name and a brief description of your concern so that we may pray for you as well.
